With this NAR Section, Memphis University School offers students an interdisciplinary look at designing, building, and launching aerodynamically stable rockets. As a rocket science curriculum, the program affords students hands-on experiences in the fields of physics, mathematics, engineering, and design (art); it also teaches students accountability through the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) safety codes.Launches

The course curriculum limits design and construction to low power rockets only.Meetings
When provided as a course offering, students complete three assignments per week and meet in person once a week. Program planning meetings by instructors and the lead teacher occur subject to school budget and academic council deadlines.This is a private organizational Section for the students, faculty, and friends of the Memphis University School.
