Activities

Launches are held from 0900-1400 on the second Saturday every month. Build sessions are held on the fourth Saturday every month from 1200-1500. We hold quarterly business meetings and occasional classes for the community.

We launch at Koehn Dry Lake bed, in southern Kern County just outside of the Friends of Amateur Rocketry main facility.

SKAR can currently certify Level 1 and Level 2 HPR.
