What’s My NAR Number?
Once you’ve joined NAR, you’re part of the organization and receive a membership number. If you are a new member, it will take a day for our system to add your NAR number to our account (our system assigns your new number just after midnight each day). These have been issued sequentially since the beginning of our organization. Once you get your NAR membership card in the mail (4-5 weeks after joining or renewing), it is clearly displayed, but some people really want to know their NAR number quickly. Here’s how to figure it out:
1. Click “My Membership” in the top menu. You may want to do this in a different browser window so you can switch back here and follow the rest of the instructions.
2. Login using your username and password you set up when you made your account and joined.
3. In the “What would you like to do?” menu, select “Update My Profile”, which should be the second option. You may have to hit Go (some browsers will do it for you).
4. Scroll down. You’ll find your NAR number near the bottom of the page, it will be in the gray area:
Important: At the top of the page is your Account number. For some old members, this may be the same as your NAR number, but this is not, I repeat this is NOT your NAR number.
