The American Rocketry Challenge program for 2025 concluded with the National Finals at Great Meadow in The Plains, VA on Saturday, May 17. 100 teams from 26 states earned the right to compete there, out of the 1,001 teams from 46 states that had entered the program. The first place prize of $20,000 went to a team of three students from Boy Scout Troop 74 in Montville, NJ, with a two-flight score total of 31.84. They were flying in their first-ever ARC National Finals and now they will get to represent the US by flying against teams from the UK, France, and Japan at the Paris Air Show in June. $80,000 in other prizes were awarded to teams at the Finals.

ARC 2026 registration will open in June, but the rocket requirements for the year’s program were announced at the ARC 2025 Finals and are provided at the link.
