About Your NAR Membership

You are a member beginning on midnight of the day your application and credit card are accepted online. The process of issuing a NAR member card for new, renewing, and HPR certification typically takes 4-6 weeks. The cards are sent biweekly to a fulfillment company that prints them and does the mailing.

Upon payment, your digital membership card is available. Simply log in, click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen, and choose your member profile. A digital membership card in .pdf and .jpg format is available.

Challenge Membership
(for American Rocketry Challenge Participants Only)

The National Association of Rocketry (NAR) is offering Challenge Memberships to students participating in the American Rocketry Challenge (ARC). It connects American Rocketry Challenge (ARC) students with the National Association of Rocketry (NAR)—the nation’s premier organization for sport rocketry—and with a community dedicated to safe, educational, and enjoyable rocketry.

Students

The NAR will help you Take Rocketry Higher! Want to fly high power rockets (HPR)? Members have access to Junior HPR Level 1, as well as Level 1, 2, and 3 Certification and an experienced membership to help you complete a successful HPR certification flight.

As you know, rocketry is great fun when you fly with other rocketeers. We have 200+ clubs across the country and you are welcome to join and fly with a club. Even if there isn't a club near you, we can help you find rocket enthusiasts in your area and start your own club.
It's simple, join the NAR and we can take your rocketry experience to new heights!

Why a Membership Matters to Schools, Mentors, and Teachers

The NAR gives you access to members who have plenty of experience in rocketry. These members can help you get your rocketry program up and running in short order. Building rockets is exciting, protecting the people and institutions that build and fly them is important, too. There is peace of mind in knowing that your school, teacher, student, and mentors can be covered by up to $5 million in liability coverage when flying rockets.

If you have questions, feel free to contact us at: insurance@nar.org.
